Exclamation Exhaust or Drivetrain? Which should be first?

I've already installed my headers and my cold-air intake, but what's sitting in my room are my 4:10s and my traction lock.

I'm about to buy something things this Friday for her, but which route should I work on first? Exhaust or Drivetrain?

This Friday I'm looking into getting these:

MAC off-road H Pipe (2.5")
MagnaFlow Hi-Flow Cat convertors (2.5")
FlowMaster Original 40s o/o (2.5")

OR...

B&M Hammer Shift Console
JMod
Installation kit (Traction Lok & 4:10s)

I figured...

Heck, if I went with the exhaust route, my car's exhaust flow will run freely. But I sure could use that Limited-Slip Differential and those 4:10s.

A little advice please?

I think you got your answer in the latter part of your post. Get what you need or what will be most conventional for use before you start adding the things you want.

Myself, I would probably go with exhaust first, only because I don't drive my Mustang but a couple weeks out of the year and to me sound = pleasure, but if limited slip is something you feel the car is lacking, I would say go with that first.

ummm...that gear install is going to expensive if your not doing it yourself...I would do the install for you but I got barely enough time to do mine...got any good mechanic friends?? both choices you will enjoy...the exhaust is a fun mod cuz when your car sounds better it makes it much more enjoyable to drive..you will turn heads all over..buuuuuuut with the gears your gonna love the hell of out of your acceleration...its really up to you..the gear/tlok installation will cost more than double what your exhaust set up will cost..but hey your in pasadena right? I got a guy for you who does a great job when it comes to exhaust... let me know when your interested..

thats a hard choice.. because i love the rumble of my car when its on and im driving it.. but the gears will wake up your car ALOT so i say go with gears.. or maybe you can just save up for both and do em at the same time

Hahaha...thanks for all your suggestions. It seems like I'll have my car breathe better first than adding some "oomph" for her drivetrain.

aowpyscho...I'm interested.
