Default 97 v6 in 94 v6 mustang

will a 97 mustang work in a 94 both v6 they look the same but i was told only the 94 and 95 v6 will work in it...

Can't see why not, as long as you use your computer from the 94-95.

The only thing that is different between the 94-95 and 96-98 is the 96-98's have the headgaskets fixed and 5 more horsepower. There are a few other small details but nothing that should prevent you from swapping the engine in.

can i use the 94 computer or have to get a 97 computer the 97 is automatic and the 94 is a 5 speed

You wont be able to use the '97 computer unless you convert your stuff to the new PATS system, or get your computer flashed to bypass it.. Use your '94 comp

yup.. you wont need to change the computer for the engines from 94-98.. When you go to the 99+, then you're looking at mods.
