Default Borla Pro XS coming soon to a theater near you!
Just bought some Borlas for the car to replace the holey-rusted hole Batman! Flowmaster 40s (both of them) and just had the passenger side mid pipe bust on me last week...so....going to the muff shop in the next couple weeks to get her all welded up.

anyone have borlas on their car? I've been looking on youtube (after i bought them) and they sound kinda farty....hopefully mine doesn't turn out that way. I've heard they were a lot quieter than flowmasters are, which i'm looking for but that they growl at WOT. the infamous flowmaster drone got the best of me so i thought I'd change it up a bit. it'll be nice the hear the supercharger

T-lok 3.73, Steeda Tri-ax shifter, Eibach springs, KYB shocks/struts, Steeda bumpsteer kit with X2 balljoints, Steeda clutch quadrant with adjuster, Steeda rear lower control arms (uppers coming soon) 2.5in dual exhaust with H-pipe, Borla mufflers, 3in tips.

Yep, straight through mufflers sound like crap on the 3.8L's.

well I've already paid for them so they're coming to me whether I want them or not at this point. I'll have them weld it up and give it a go. If worse comes to worse, i'll just get something else...

I got a hooker max flow on my car and it sounds pretty darn good! 96 we are gonna need a clip of that sound!!! Hope the best for ya man

They're borla pro xs mufflers:

Maybe it was just the poor quality on youtube. If it's quiet during cruising speeds and rumbly at WOT then I'll be happy. If it's farty at WOT....then I may be looking at something else. I get them next week and they'll be welded in by next weekend so we'll see.

Actually it sounds really good. Im just running a single 3inch cuz of the turbo and everything but it sounds good. Ill try to get a clip and post it up.

You mother ****** you took my idea. I wanted to run maxflows with my s/c...

But now that i'm selling the s/c I'll explore a few more of the rare mufflers.
