I'm looking at buying a 2003 Mustang (Deluxe Coupe Trim Package) off a dealer's lot. Its got the 3.8 liter, V6 with automatic transmission. Has anybody had any problems with this engine or model year? The research that I have done says that it should be a good, reliable vehicle. I haven't read about any problems with this model year. Can anyone give me some advice or anything that I should be looking for when I see the vehicle?

i bought a 2002 v6 and i love it deff get it the only prob i had was the alternator i had to replace it but thats to be expected when buying a used car

Make sure the transmission shifts smooth and right. Alson check the A/C.
