does anyone know anything about the quality of Diablosport flash tuner? i read a artical about it in a summit racing catolog and it says i could gain up to 100 horsepower if i tune it correctly, is this true? and will it void the warrenty on my car?

It's a very good tuner but 100 hp is out of the question without additional performance modifications (exhaust, cold air etc)

You won't get anywhere close to 100hp, get an SCT tuner.

well it said 100 more HP with the extreme tune and i have a k&n intake with true dual flowmasters and a B&M performance shifter but the shifter dont change HP but i got flows and intake so what kind of change should i expect at the rear wheels?

well i read on further and it says 100 more with the extreme tune but thats on a mustang 5.0 it doesn't say about the v6 altho they do have one for v6 so idk?

Right now your making maybe 168hp at the rear wheels (I'm being generous) With a tuner maybe 178 (I'm still being generous)

No tune is gonna give you 100hp unless you driven an F250+

i have the xcal2 and it works great.. im not all that sure about the xcal3 yet.. i havent heard that much about it..

well to tell you the truth if you plan on having the car dynoed check the local dyno shops and see which tuner they deal with. Only because i have a sct tuner which i love, but none of the dynos around here deal with sct. They all deal with diablo. We have to drive to delk 2+hours to get dynoed.

most tuners are in the $300 range some upwards of $500
personally im gona go with a diablosport, havnt heard anything bad about them, and a little bit better numbers compared to Sct i think, i could be wrong though, i read it a few weeks back

Sorry but your not going to get a 100hp with a tune on your car with those mods, that would be sweet though. A canned tune will probably net you around 5hp. A dyno tune may get you around 10-15hp depending on who tunes your car. But like others said, diesels benefit greatly from these tuners as I've heard some gain 100+hp and 200+tq. This past weekend I saw a 05+ mustang get tuned and base lined at 314hp and at the end of the day he left with 360hp. The guy who tuned his car is one of the best around. Needless to say, that guy left with one big smile on his face
