Default what would you do for a upgrade if you were me

new to this site, looks great. i want to go with a 7.5 > 3:55 gear for the car and chip, cold air intake, mass air, also a throttel body, but my buddy wants to go with a turbo. what should i do. I really only drive it on the weekends but my girlfriend loves to drive it when ever she can. So i am looking at it as a everyday drive can. If i go with the cold air intake, what is a bigger size i can go up to the throttel body?

You really don't need to worry about a bigger throttle body, your stock one should be plenty big enough. As for gears, you might want to go with 3.73's. You have 3:27's stock, so you may not feel that big of a difference with 3:55's. C.A.I's are always a great start. A cheaper mod, better throttle response, and a slight rise in fuel economy too. Figure out your goals for your car, whether you want to just add a little giddy to it, or if you want a 250+ horsepower car.

You can't put 3:55's in a 7.5. They are for 8.8's......

For a little "oomp" from the rear, add a litmited-slip differential.

I hear it's like driving a whole new car, so I'm excited about my project.

Go with 3.73 gears and a ford racing traction lock to make both tires spin all the time. Also you will need a handheld tuner to correct your speedo.

This is the cheapest Detroit TrueTrac that tex117 found for me, I'm sure it'll do wonders for your wallet.

eBay Motors: DETROIT LOCKER TRUETRAC FORD 7.5" 28 SP MUSTANG 912A316 (item 120207975988 end time Mar-08-08 08:48:45 PST)

I'm considering selling my FRPP T-lok so I can buy that.
