Default Dual exhaust for v6 Mustang from pypes

When it was time to replace my exhaust on my 99 v6 I decided to go dual. It took my some time because when I did my exhaust about 2 years ago it was hard to find a true dual exhaust set up for the v6. I didn't want a "y" set up since I do plan on putting a supercharger on her, planning ahead saves time, money and headaches. I settled on a package put out by pypes performance, its part number is SFM56. I have been very happy with it, there is a noticable increase in power. In coperation with a CAI, the rasspiness is hardly noticible.

Exclamation 06 v6 magnaflow cat back dual exhaust

i have magnaflow 2.5in. System, Dual Muffler, 4 in. Tips, Dual Split Rear Exit, part 16605, and i LOVE it. minus one little thing. after i drive it for a while (about 2+ hours) the sound from the exhaust starts to fade quite a bit. but once i let it cool down all the way or add gas to the tank, it comes back to life, any ideas what could be the causative factor in this dilemma?

After extended periods of driving, the exhaust system gets very hot. As metal heats up it expands and get less dense. Less density = less resonance = less sound.
