keep in mind, im no expert. with the x-pipe your gonna get more airflow im not sure about HP. but everything i've read on this site when people start talking about the x-pipe is that they have a unique sound. not a bad sound, just differant. i've never heard one before so i cant describe it.
I do not know if my situation is applicable since my car is a 95 GT but I just finished putting on a BBK o/r X-pipe and I have only driven it a bit but with flow masters it is really loud, raspy and I am kind of feeling that I did lose low end torque.
I also have a 96 V6 and I installed true duals with an H-Pipe and Flowmasters. The sound is just right for me on that car.
