Has anyone had any bad experiences with using seafoam?
what exactly does it do when you put it in the brake boost line?(other than smoke alot) what exactly is it cleaning?
and does anyone have any recomendations for a good oil when i change it out?

I have never had any problems and in the brake boost line it would just clean out any gunky buildup. Note i have never used it in my break booster. 1/3 in the tank,1/3 in the throttle body and the last1/3 put it in you oil. The reason that it smokes is because it it cleaning the carbon out of ur valves. And the smoke is a good sighn because all gas powered engines produce carbon.

How do you put it through your throttle body? What is it cleaning?
What I have done is put it through either the pcv valve line or the brake booster line. When you do that it goes into the intake manifold, and cleans the inside of that as well as the valves and combustion chamber. Putting it through the tb is nice cause it gets the entire inside of the manifold, but I always make a mess. So the pcv line is pretty much right behind that, I do that and then use a squirt of tb cleaner to clean the front/back of the butterfly valve. Putting it into the fuel tank cleans the injectors, as well as the combustion chamber, but through a vacuum line cleans all the places air gets to inside the manifold before it's mixed with the gas.
I still believe that this is an effective method of mosquito control as well

I have a 97 but i cannot find a way to get it into my intake, can someone please shed some light on this for me?
I have never done it to a pre-99, but your brake booster is going to be in the same place. With the hood up, and standing in front of your motor, on the right hand side of your firewall there will be your brake booster. The rubber hose that plugs into it on the left side will run to your intake manifold on the other side. Un-plug the hose from the brake booster side, start the engine and then pour in the sea foam. On the 99+ stangs the pcv valve tube is closer to the front of the manifold, so the sea foam cleans a little more than the booster line. So check that on yours, your pcv valve will be sitting on top of one of your valve covers and the tube going from that will connect to your intake manifold as well.

the best way I can tell somebody how to find the tube if they are not sure what they are looking for is to unfasten rubber hoses connecting to the intake and if you hear a sucking sound like a vacuum then you have found your tube..

wrong side of the hose..try the other side that is not directly connected to the intake..

Does it really make that big of a difference to add it to the brake line? I have never added it to my brake line when I do it.
If all your doing is putting it in the tank then it does. It's not something you need to do all the time, but you would not believe the difference after the first time you do it with the throttle response. Makes a big difference over just letting the injectors spray it.

I usually put half in the tank and half in the crank case. I noticed a pretty big difference this time. I went through the oil and saw little chunks of carbon build-up... Not good. lol I plan on getting a new engine this summer so I am not too worried about it.
yup 1/3 is best got rid of my troubles. brake intake hose is trickey keep idle up or it will die on you and not do much good. i had to do mine twice before i saw the desired result
