Try the pypes mid muffler system.

Flowmaster is pretty good, but the 4.0L are quiet.

i checked into the pypes and they sound pretty good. how do you feel about just a borla muffler swap? its really hard to get an exhaust that sounds just right for my car.

Do you have large tail pipes? I think they help give a deeper sound. The flowmaster original 40s sound pretty deep.

If it's true dual then going with something like pypes will deffinitely make it louder. Like guitarstar said upping the pipe diameter will help, although I wouldn't go bigger than 2.25, and bigger longer exhaust tips will make the sound a lot deeper.
