Your ABS light could come on because you have worn down you pads for the ebrake. Had the same problem on my old Nissan, the wife drove it for 20 minutes before she realized the ebrake was on. I replaced the pads and the light went off. Check your rotors to make sure they were not damaged, replace those if needed. Remember this for future referance, check the ebrake before you take off. Everyone does something like that at one time or another. I once sold my wifes car to a friend, he paid for it, hopped in and went to the store. 1 hr later he comes back complaining that something is really messed up because he is hearing a thump, thump, thump as he drives down the road. I went out to check it and saw the tire marks all the way down the road. The car was a front wheel drive and he drove to the store with the ebrake on and the radio turned way up. When he got in to come home he took off the ebrake and it made the noise, he had worn that part of the tire down to the wire mesh. He felt like a dumba$$ and had to buy 2 new back tires. Live and learn man.
