Default Engine Swap Questions

Hi all! I'll be doing a big engin swap this summer on my 2000 Converible. I'm taking out my v6 and putting in a 460 bored .30+. I already know i need a GT front suspention, a Cobra hood, Relocate motor mounts, weld chain between the block and frame. .... What problems will have to be addressed prior to the swap? I need to figure out how to convert it to fuel injection, wireing and electrical isues as well as computor probs. Any ideas?

make sure you have a load of money, you'll also want to upgrade to the 8.8 rearend, and also to a tranny that will be able to stand up to the power

I am aware of the money issue, not a big deal.....the end result will be worth it. After all its a "project car", not a daily driver. But....what are all the things I'll be dropping so much money down on? What model does the 8.8 come out of? and which tranny?

> suspension work
> a built tranny or a badass one to handle the power
> better break system
> fuel system
> wiring
> 8.8 rear end [your prob gonna need to build that also]

The 8.8 inch rear end comes out of any GT. You will probably need to rebuild it to be stronger than stock or you could just go with a 9 inch rear end. lol

A C-6 yes,get a driveshaft with proper yoke but as far as a rear an 8.8 will handle a mild 460 but I would go with a 9 inch for a built one
