my mustang is a 2000 v6 and ive had it about 5 months. when i got the car i really wasn't thinking mileage but rather the fact that it was 12 years newer than my '88 2.3 mustang. i was hoping to keep the car for atleast three to four years which seemed very possible at the time but i have learned a lot since then. my car has a little over 137000 miles right now but the engine and surprisingly auto
tranny seem to be in fine shape. i cannot say how the car was driven before, i have no idea. it has a k&n CAI but other than that, stock. i have replaced a cracked exhaust manifold and kept oil change and maintance to date. i'm just wondering how much life i can get out of my mustang? i drive it every day and i would guess around 15,000 miles a year. will it last me the three or four years until i can buy a GT or should i start saving to buy another v6 with lower miles. i just don't want to start putting a lot of money into dual exhuast and other mods when i should be saving for another car. what can i expect and what have you guys gotten out of your v6's?
