so i have a dilliema, i dont know weather or not to get a tuner for my car or get 3.73 gears. could someone please help me figure out what i should do. i was thinkin that if i got the3.73 gears then i would need to tuner also, right? just someone let me know please

get the gears!... you wont have to tune anything with the gears the only difference is that your speedo will be off but its not much $ to buy the little plastic gear that goes inside your speedo to fix it... i promise you'l feel the gears when you drive, you wont feel the tuner. The tuner might save you gas money whereas the gears will kill your gas mileage but if you cared about that why would you own a mustang.

Sorry bro , your wrong on this count. You cannot buy the speedo gear for a 99-04 stang. You have to have the tuner to adjust for the speedo , or a speedcal.

I highly suggest that you get a posi unit too like this one...
