Default How do I protect my Mustang from pitting and chipping?

My 2008 Mustang is not even mine for two months yet and I already a good collection of small rock pits on the front of my hood!

I hate them! I also hate car Bras and deflectors!

I have taken just two small road trips (work related) both about three hours each way...

What's a good idea for protecting from getting newer deeper ones?

I bought this car to be an everyday driver so..I guess I can't complain too much..but it's brand spankin new!! AAHHH!

thanks in advance,

James

Stay away from big rigs and avoid driving close up behind other cars. Just that will help some but really it's hard to avoid all situations.

They're ugly, but as a last resort, get a bra.

Worth every penny!

You can get just the bumper done, but I recommend getting the works. Bumper, hood, mirrors and don't forget the rocker panels.

3m clear bra hey?? Thanks for the suggestion!
Can a regular car Bra be taken on and off easily? Maybe I can just put it on at least for the road trips and highway driving...

the 3m idea is pretty intriguing though!

Yes, but you aren't supposed to use them in wet conditions as they harbor moisture.

You won't be sorry for spending the cash on the Clear Bra.

i would never use a reg bra because it traps dirt and water between it and the cars paint

also you will get uneven paint fade with a regular bra.

Not to mention those annoying metal straps in the back!
