I want to install a turbo on my 99' v6 mustang, but i have a few questions first. how much does a turbo usually cost.... and also, if i do buy a turbo, will i have to do any modifications to my car first? Or will i be able to install the turbo with my stock engine?
Their is no company out that has a complete turbo kit for the V6 at this time. You can do a custom turbo set-up. The problem with that is that you will have to have someone who knows what they are doing put together all of what you need and it will probably be pretty expensive for someone to put it all on for you. Think 4-5k at least, unless you are going to be doing a lot of the work yourself or using used parts and not new parts.

You can also use one of the remote turbo systems for the GT.
Plan on 6K, and I wouldn't run one on an internally stock engine, the shock to the rotating assembly can be pretty severe. But that's just me - I'm sure the adherents will downplay it until a rod goes 20K after installing the system.
But that's also why you can generally find a lightly used turbo system in the classifieds sections of various Mustang sites at VERY reasonable prices . . .

Well his wife wanted to play a bad joke on him so while he was in a club some of us from the car club went and un bolted it carefully took off the feed lines and return lines and put it in another car. When he came back we were all watching him from across the street in a store and he almost broke down in tears . It took us about 10min to unbolt that thing and CAREFULLY take the lines off we could have ripped them out and had it all gone in less than 5.

That would be tough to do with JMSProducts's setup, as they're behind the quarter panels . . .
I suppose they could break into the car, rip out the rear seats and trim, and then steal it, but it would be a lot easier to pry open the hood or remove the turbo from the bottom of a front turboed car than ripping out the 1/4 panels!

Your sitting around and somebody pulls up running their mouth about all they have and you walk over and notice their running their mouth about an air intake and a set of headers you laugh and they wonder what you have. Then you could pop your hood and show them a "cold air intake" and listen to them talk crap about your stock car until you beat them. Trying not to Blow Off on the way to race would be a challenge !!!
