Default I want to put a exhaust system on my 1999 Mustang V6, Help!

I want to put a exhaust system on my car!!!
I have a 1999 mustang v6 3.8!!
I know some friend that has a Mustang but is a GT
And he told me that A v6 can't never sound as a v8???

I want to know what i do?? So my car can sound good, and get some more HP???

yea u can make it sound like a v8 by taking off the mufflers

No it won't, but it doesn't really matter, because if you get a good exhaust system, then yours will sound like a really nice V6.

I would recommend an X-pipe, for a V6, and straight through mufflers, like Magnaflow Magnapacks, or SLP Loudmouth I's. Those would both sound good, and you would get excellent performance out of them.

An X-Pipe is anywhere from $180-350, and exhaust is anywhere from $400-750 depending on the brand.

I like Magnaflow, but its all about preference. Just go on YouTube, and search for different exhaust on V6 Mustangs. Thats what helped me decide.
