Unfortunately there a quite a few cars that are faster than a stock v6 mustang. Sure we can top a Honda civic or some other family cars but there isnt a ton of things we can beat. Start to do some modding and then take it to a track and run it. Nothin beats gunning it on green and gettin a timeslip to prove your time.

I was just about passed up by the older gentlemen on his powered scooter that lives down the street, but rumor at the elder center is that he's modified his intake and has dr's for the rear.

you can beat a Ferrari 308/328!
All you really have to do is look at teh sticker costs - anything recent that costs about the same you can probably beat.
Anything older than 1999 that was up to 5K more, you'll probably beat.
Anything older than 1989 or so, you'll start beating exotics.

ahh yes everone likes to win a race but there is always a race you dont want to talk about. for me it was a sleeper neon. he had a couple toys under the hood and had i think he said rt4 motor. so along with the lighter body, and being standard vs my auto he got off the line faster and from there didnt lose any more ground but didnt gain any either. self note- dont under estimate any car
