Default Bigger Wheels or Lowering Springs?

I have an '02 3.8, and one of my least favorite things about the car is how wimpy the wheels are and space between the wheels and the wheel wells. I'd like to get some GT Bullitt wheels for it, but i'd also like to lower the car to make it look better. I've been told I could get new coil-overs to lower the car and improve handling, but I don't know how much they cost. My budget is only about 600 dollars, so I'd like to know, should I lower the car or get new wheels first? cause I'll do the other one next summer when I have more money.

I would get larger wheels first, but with your budget I could not get the ones I would like.

I think for the best look on Mustangs you need to go a tad higher in wheel size and do a slight lowering. I don't like a radical change in either. Kind of meet in the middle.

I personally would be afraid to lower my Mustang though. We bottom out too much as it is up here in NH.

I found the wheels i like for 400, and i can get some kumho racing tires for about 200 (connections). How much is a new set of coil overs that are a little lower?

Ford Racing C springs are about $160.

Sweet man thank you so much. I guess i'll get those springs now and since they're so cheap, i'll get the new wheels at christmas. How hard are the new springs to install?
