If the shop is worth it's salt, it should blend well enough. I have a forest metallic green, and the guy I had do the work (which is extremely similar in damage) blended along the A pillar, hood and door. Metallic paints can be the worst to blend, and I was happy with the results. Definitely check the job in the sun, and be sure they do a quality job. Look for low / high spots they might not have corrected, look for the blend job and make darn sure you check it out in GOOD light. Don't check it at dusk or early in the AM, especially before you're 3rd cup of cofee. (4 cups is normal... right??

...Told them I wasn't a morning person...). Ask to see it in the shop or the paint booth before you take it if you know the light will be bad outside.
