Default Magnaflow Vs. Flowmaster

Ive had magnaflow exhaust on my '00 v6 for about 2 years. Ive been looking a lot at youtube and noticing that the flowmaster 40's seem a lot deeper and give more of a rumble. Has anyone heard both the systems and able to give me some help as to what truly is better of the two. Thanks!

Well im a Magnaflow guy so im going to lean towards them. Ive always thought the Magnaflow had the deepest, most different sounding tone than any other exhaust. But i havent heard some of flows newest products like super 44's that are supposed to sound deeper, so i cant say. And flows do sound good for sure, so either way ya cant lose.

In that case does anyone have super 44's on their 99-04 v6? And if so how does it sound?

I would go with flowmaster 40's. I think it sounds great although Magnaflow is a great brand too. Flow 40's should sound like this:

I love my flows "american thunder" type!!!

I have Magnaflow, so I'm a little biased, but they are my favorite. I would say keep the Magnaflows and put in Magnapacks resonators, they sound really good.

Ok in all honesty magnaflow sound horrid on a v6... think honda s2000? or maybe nissan 350z sounding.

Magnaflow flows better than flowmaster however -
Flowmaster has the best deepest tone -

First of all that dude probably has a stock Y pipe, and a terrible camera which does it no justice. Magnapacks with an X pipe sound like a really good V6, not like a V6 thats trying to sound like a GT.

Saying magnaflow sounds good on a v6 goes against the majority...

I know pepople who own magnaflows and admit how bad they sound unless the sound you were going for was s2000 ish v6.

Once again, it sounds throatier in person. Magnaflow flows better, and I'll admit, they don't sound as good as the Flowmasters do. However, I have Magnaflows with an X, and never has any GT owner told me it sounded bad, or that it sounded ricey.

The majority of the "gt" owners would not know what a good exhaust sounded like on a 6.
