Default What's the best air intake?

First off i know it probably has been discussed but i dont have the time and the patience to search every page in the forums but what is the best air intake, i'm thinking about getting a K&N performance intake but im not sure if there are better ones out there.

another thing im recently changing my car to a true dual exhaust, do i need to buy stainless steel exhaust hangers and should i just have them hang below my bumper or have the shop see if they can make cuts. Thanks

Pros: Easy to install, looks nice, more aggressive engine sound, better mpg(depending how you drive) Better TB response and improved performance.

Cons: It costs money

I had a bunch of friends that had mustangs from the fox to the new body style (the mustang is very popular over there). Almost all of them had at least a cold air intake. None had any problem after all that rain!

Don't believe what the company hp claims. Thats just to sell their product. A simple CAI from American Muscle will do the job and it'll leave you some extra cash in your wallet for other mods too. Also Hawaii is very nice

I'm with you on not believing what the company says also. Sure it shown 12-19hp gains. But they never said what they also did to the rest of the motor to get the gains! A tube with no brand name vs. a tube with a brand name all do the same! Hawaii was nice just hate paying for the gas!!!!

How much was gas over in Hawaii when you went? I didn't even bother to look at the gas prices lol. Of course this was back in 2004 so gas prices were nowhere near as bad as today.
