I think you should go with a CAI from AM which is around $75 and save up for your exhaust. The short-throw, I would get 3rd and then pulleys. Have you thought about gears?

240 to the crank you say? Gears, tune and gear oil kit and install should be about 1k. a Very well worth mod though, it'll give your car more low end giddy up.

No offense dude, but with the mods you listed your hp is no where near a GT. Remember that rear wheel hp is what counts most and I say your putting down around 175rwhp and a stock GT puts down around 225rwhp (stick) 215rwhp (auto) but don't give up modding, you can make your car as fast or faster than a GT

240 what? There is no way you have even 190 hp. Just because you kept up with one GT doesn't mean you have more hp. With that said finish the exhaust. Then get a shifter. If you plan to supercharge it later on the pullies will have to come off, so why waste the money right now. I wasn't aware it was 800 dollars for a H and a catback, but it's your money, spend it as you wish.

Is that your car in your avatar? Pics?

he has a 2003 V6 which has 193 hp to the crank to begin with so i dont know how you can say he doesnt even have 190. he never said to the wheels so that cant be your excuse. saying he has 240 is a bit much but having over 200 is definite. i dont know where you come up with this stuff.

Where I come up with this stuff? I was talking about rear wheel HP and was under the impression that he was too.

And even so the mods listed gave him maybe 5-8 hp, so even at the crank he isn't making 200 HP.

he is starting off with 193 bhp and with a CAI, the increase is from 5-8 bhp. he also has bbk shorty headers with also give an increase from 5-8 bhp since they are less restrictive than stock headers. even if both parts make the minimal gain of 5:
5+5=10 bhp.
193+10= 203 bhp.
203 bhp > 200 bhp.
Simple Math.

and if you want to talk about rwhp, he has a custom made performance driveshaft that puts more hp to the wheels. its not 240 nor 200 for rwhp but he def has an increase in rwhp because of it.

Simple math does not apply in the automotive world, its ricer math or dyno numbers.

However: BBK cold air added maybe 1-3hp Shorties do nothing on our cars so your pretty much at stock hp.

No. Cold air adds maybe 3 hp. Shortie headers don't do **** on V6 mustangs, or any mustangs for that matter. The stock headers flow just as well.

Even if there is any HP gain, none of it will be felt in the seat of your pants, or be noticed at the dragstrip or open track.

NOT 1 HP IS GAIN FROM A DRIVESHAFT.

Really? I can't believe you actually said that.

I believe he meant that the DS will put the hp down on the pavement, not add hp
