Default body damage to my stang

so i let my cousin drive my mustang and since its a little lowered it scrapes under the bumper when you pull out of a drive way or something. he pulled in the wrong way to the driver way and now my bumper is cracked and the paint chipped. if i take it to a auto body shop. will they fix and repaint only my bumper or will they paint the entire car? and how much will it cost?

They will repair or replace (depends on what insurance or you want to do) the bumper. Then depending on the condition of the rest of the paint, they will probably blend the new paint onto the other body parts to lesson the difference between the new paint and the original paint. Dennis

They can plasti-weld it and blend the area too, if it's not too big. Paint tends to show up differently on plastics anyway, and I had my bumper painted w/o a blend into the hood, and there is no noticeable difference.... and I'm a picky son of a gun!!

Oh... it's white?? Jeeze, it'll be fine! My car is Metallic Green and it matched up good! Metallic paints tend to lay differently depending on the humidity, temp, surface prep, product maker ect ect... but solid colors like black, white and some other main stream colors are normally a cinch. Anyway, if you paint the whole bumper, it's to the body lines so it should look absolutely fine.
