Default Random Tuner Inquiry

Im sure this is pointless. But early today i was thinking about tuners. So if a tuner saves a backup of your original tune what if you already had a tune installed then installed a second tuner would that tuner save the modified tune from the first tuner? sorry if this is confusing.

A new tuner would override your current tuner, but the old tuner cannot be used on another vehicle. You would have to unmarry it first.......

Default Yes But..

I know the the second one would override it. But if u had say a diablo tune on your mustang. then bought and SCT xcal3 if you installed the SCT it has to first backup the original but would it think the diablo tune is the original or make you put the original back?

Good question. It's possible that the tuners may have the stock tune already saved, not you're current configuration. Thats a good question for the manufacturer, because I'm sure it's a product-by-product situation.

No, thats a good question! It's conceivable that, with the right parameters changed, you might cause a fail in some states. Well, there's one way to find out isn't there??

When you Install A Different tuner to your mustang thats already tuned.....That Tuner will Realize your car has been tuned so there for it will not Tune Over the Old tuner.....It will FAIL TO TUNE. Unstall the old tune puttug your car back to its original tune and put the new tunner on.

Already seen a buddy try it LOL
