Default does gapping the spark to .60 do anything

they now have a screamin demon coil and it changes your gap to .6 and i was wondering if this helps and if i need new spark plugs i know i need new wires

depends on the plugs you get and how your going to drive it, if you get platinum plugs (which are NOT a performance plug) then yes you can open the gap up because the platinum tips will not erode that quick......but if you go wth a copper core sparkplug, which IS more of a performance plug than I'd say no, because as the copper erodes the gap will get wider and mis-fires will occur....

I over gap my plugs in everything I own... Reason being my ign systems are top of the line... If your sys can produce the voltage to bridge a large gap, you will increase your burn time, thus have a more complete burn in the cylinder. I know people think its bull but I've had cars that wouldn't pass a smog test and all I did was overgap the plugs and the emissions dropped to passing levels. Emissions aside, low emissions equate to complete burn which means more power.
