hey i want to turbo charge my mustang what is the cheapest way to do that? can you jut get a turbo off of like a volvo or vw or do you need one specificly for a mustang? sorry if this is a dumb question im new at this.

The turbo itself off of one of those cars would probably work, but you would need custom piping and inercooler to go with it; thus making it expensive. Supposedly these guys are back in business www.tmaturbo.com they are reasonably priced and do good work.

thanks. i thought it would work, it would just be a little tricky running oil to it. and a custom waste gate

If you can weld, and are mechanically inclined you can do a turbo setup for 8000-1200$ using cheap parts.

If not your looking at 3grand on up.

+ you will need fuel injectors, tune, fuel pump, etc.
