I find this hard to believe. I have had nothing but the best service from American Muscle and i have made several purchases from them in the past.

That's odd, AM usually has great service. I'm sure Nick wouldn't be happy about this. Just go to Napa and get the rubber pieces to fix the problem.

I too find this a little questionable. First off, American Muscle is a vendor, they did not produce your Cold Air Intake. I would also question why they would tell you that everything they sell is crap. If you have a dispute, PM AMNick here at AFM and I'm sure he will help you out.

I agree...I have boughten things from American Muscle and never had a problem. The Intake I have is Not from them though.....And it runs better then the last one I bought from a Different Company. I do a lot of Home made or do it yourself Mods.

Hmm, I've never heard anything about the rubber parts melting, and we have been selling these things for many years.

We don't actually manufacture any parts here. We do have several parts made for us, a lot of them are even made in the same factories that OEM parts are made in. We also have several parts from lesser known, but high quality brands names that we sell under our name to help them sell. Yes many of our "house brand" items are significantly less expensive than name brands, but they are by no means "cheap crap". A lot of the cost savings to you comes from cutting out excessive middle men and buying in bulk.

I would find it extremely bizarre and nigh implausible that anyone here would say anything like that to you. As you can see from everyone else's posts here customer service is one of our fortes. If you PM me your full name and/or order number, I should be able to find out who you talked to here and get to the bottom of this.
