Default Antenna Replacement

Does anyone know anything about these Zeus antennas?http://zeusantenna.com/home.html
I emailed them about their strength due to it being a hollow tube, but have not heard back from them.

Is it just me, or do some of those look like sex toys? ;-)

LOL! Now that you mention it... They do look a tad skinny, though. Then again, that might make for some interesting pics with the ladies.

^LMAO that is the first thing that I thought when I saw them.

OP-Those things are hideous not to mention expensive. Just take off the little ball on top of your antenna cut off however much you want and put the ball back on top. Easy as that and it really cleans up the look of the car. With those on your car people would think that you were some kind of homo nympho...

Won't that screw with your reception? I'm pretty sure just shortening the antenna without changing another part of it will limit it's properties (frequency range, efficiency, gain/impedance)...

As long as you do not go shorter than 8-9 inches then the reception will not be messed with. That is why you put the little ball back on top after you cut it down to the size that you want.
