I recently got my dual exhaust on my v6 Mustang. It sounds bad ass, but its not really the sound i was expecting. the guy who did it said that if i take out the Cats then it will sound a lot better, is that true. and if it is, how much will it cost. he wants to do it for $250

It will be alot louder and have a check engine light on,i think 250 is a bit high.

Put your car on jack stands and leave it on the street overnight. You'll get your cats taken off for free.

It depends on if you have emissions testing in NJ too...... Cats are worth money. I got $220.00 for mine when I went with LT's.

well if you take all 4 cats out it will be really raspy at high rpm's

yea our sixers don't sound good with cats off...you better off just getting some high flow cats
