What is the best exhaust set up for a 2001 v6 mustang?

Dual flowmasters

I'm sure others will chime in but that's what I have and it sounds decent for a V6.

i have heard that if you put dual 40's on with out cats it gets really raspy at high rpm's

Yeah, it's still raspy with the cats too in the higher rpms, mine sthat way when I get on it and I have the stock mid-pipe. Down low though, it has a little nice rumble to it, but nothing compared to my V8.
