Default Best Snow Tires for 2007 Mustang V6

I've got a 2007 Mustang V6, and the first snow is probably going to be upon us here in minnesota in a matter of weeks. For anyone who has driven their mustang in the winter, did you put snow tires on? If so, what kind and how well did they work?
(I'm trying to find an older Taurus or some other car to drive in the winter, so hopefully I can find one for sale. I'm really not looking forward to driving the mustang on the ice.)

I've had good experiences with Dunlops for snow tires. i switched snow/summer tires and I would suggest you do that too being in MN.

Driving the Mustang in a Michigan winter was NOT fun. I will be investing in a nice set of snow tires before November.

Sadly yes, I've had to drive my baby the past two winters. RWD sucks in the snow, but as long as you make changes (in speed or direction) gradually, you should do all right.
Snow tires definitely help! I used Mastercraft Glacier-Grip II's and they worked well (never got stuck) and lasted for two winters (switched them out in the summers). They were a decent price, too. Good luck in the wintry weather!

Living in Alaska there is no option need to change the tires. I have an 06 V6 running HANKOOK's with studs for the ice. RWD is a ball to drive in the snow esp with traction control. We have already had snow this year and my tires are getting changed next week.
If the snow is too deep I have an F250 4x4 also running winter tires and studs, but I love driving the mustang.

Driving a RWD in the snow can be a blast. Try going to an empty lot and playin around so u can get a feel for the car in the snow. It's a lot like muddin, u have to learn just how for u can push the car so u can drive safely in the snow. I used to live in Oklahoma, and I saw a lot of accidents because guys in RWD's would fishtail sause they used to much power. Don't even get me started on the soccer mom's in 4x4's
