Default Just Got My V6, Help with Mods?

Hi everybody, i just bought a new 2007 Mustang V6, i LOVE it, but i was wondering which mods i could buy that would be somewhat cheap, and boost my power. I am looking at BBK cold air intakes, BBK shorty headers and BBK throttle bodies. anybody know which one gives me more bang for my buck? or should i buy something completely different.

Intake, Tune, and a set of gears would give oyu the best bang for the buck as a package. Also toss in a free flowing muffler.

I put in a BBK cold air intake in my 07 V6, you can definitely feel a difference in performance and throttle responsiveness. I would definitely recommend that, it sounds great on my Mustang, to. As far as gearing, I am still looking into that myself, so I can't be much help there. Congrats on the Mustang!

Agree with Kyle, those mods are a great place to start. Shorties and TB won't give you much for the bang for the buck. I would swap the mid pipe for better flow along with a set of good mufflers(go dual)

MellowYellow, from what i have been told/found out, Grab the CAI first, a BBK intake should boost you about 15 horses and only run you 199.99. this is what i plan on doing first. an exhaust system is gonna run you MUCH bigger bucks if you want a good sound/preformance boost. any experts out there go ahead and correct me if im wrong.

i plan on going with the bbk as well, but for now i have cut open the factory air box and put in a k&n filter. major difference. then i did an experiment by swapping the muffler with one from a gt. another major difference. hurst short throw shifter and the fr3 suspension pack.
i have a friend who bought his new and has been trying to out run me from the get go. lol he put on a c&l intake, diablo tune, 3.73 gears, suspension, shelby razor wheels, dual exhaust, hurst, shaker hood, ect..ect and still was never able to out run me. hahahahaha the problem that he had is that he lost back pressure from the dual exhaust. loosing the low end. the c&l intake is way too big and the tune has had problems. his car is now on my lot for sale. hahahahahaha I work for a ford dealership and my best friend is my tech. he is a mustang guru. if you decide to go with the duals then make sure they put in two "turbo tubes". helps with the raspyness and creates the backpressure that you need. if you have anymore questions. let me know.

I would recommend buying a C&L Intake and a Diablosport Tuner (I bought them together in a package deal for $500). After talking with a lot of people, C&L (or Steeda CAI) seem to make the biggest difference. Doing them both is the best idea.

I have this and a dual exhaust w/ GT take off mufflers and Im happy with it. Next Im going to do the gears but I would start here.

By this I mean do both an intake and tuner at the same time (I just re-read it and it didnt make sense, lol)
