i got smoked lights and received a citation for $123 and wanted to know if i pay it if i still need to show proof of correction

well, i work with EHTPD.

its hard to say it really depends on your state and county or department. for here you will have to show proof of correction just like illegal window tint.

thats your best bet, but they still can make you correct them, they might not make that big of a deal tho once they get there money there usually happy, and looking forward to getting u a second time

LA sucks with fix it tickets. They will pull you over for every little thing they can find, window tint, license plate location or lighting. They most likely will make you correct it man. It's just too bad.

How long has it been since you got the ticket and fixed it to have a cop sign it off? If you you don't get it signed off right away and send in in then they will charge you for the delay or something like that. That's what happened to me with the front license plate situation. Usually it's only around $10-$15.

well he gave me the citation like 1 or second of october and he put its not due till november the 4th though

It's best to get it done asap, even though they say that. Did you receive a bill in the mail for $123?

Stuff like that is so annoying. I just got a parking ticket for not having a front license plate here in seattle. It sucks!

Yeah, that's what I got from a CHP. The fix it ticket ended up costing about $125 My bad for procrastinating.

In California you will have to show proof of getting it fixed.

Jim is correct about that, I forgot to mention. I fixed mine by just screwing the plate back on and then getting it signed off. Then I unscrewed it and put the plate up on the deck in my car lol.
