grippier tires and get rid of the limited slip in the rear, make sure your abs is working correctly, get a traction bar, panhard bar

i would try to just slow down. the only reason for unwanted driftes is cuz ur moving to fast for the turn. make sure that you slow down before you enter the corner. and also dont turn sharp or you will experience a drift. and no you dont need a posi. the limited slip makes both tires spin at the same time just like a posi but not in turns it alows the tires to rotate at diff. speeds to help with tire wear.

Plain and simple, slow down when it rains. Mustangs don`t handle well in anything but dry weather. You'd have to go to rain biased tires to get any difference and then you'd lose cornering power.

As for getting rid of traction-lok, that is the stupidest thing I have read to date. Traction-lok HELPS give you extra traction by allowing power to go to both wheels. All posi (which stands for posi-traction) units allow for slippage inside the differential for cornering purposes, not just a traction-lok (which is a posi unit). Only a full spool absolutely locks the two rear wheels together, but that is unrealistic to use on the street.

It is your bad rain driving habits that are giving you problems. Slow down.

I have Michelin Aquatrac tires and they seem to work well. Biggest thing that helps me though is just keeping my foot out of it.

I run Michelin Pilots and they are dreadful in the rain unless you use common sense. They sure are killer in the dry. Right now I just mounted a set of Firestone Wintermaster snow tires (all 4) and it is far better in the weather but now it is not so hot in the dry, LOL!

Yeah, in corners, you gotta drive slow when it's raining. There have been times when I am driving pretty slow in a corner with rain and it still wanted to slip out. Better tires also help.
