Hey all, I have a 2001 v6 stang an I've been looking at this on ebay and wondering about it, becuase I've seen you all talk about cold air intakes, saying they're good and needed. So could you check this out and see if its worth anything, and should I get it? here it is. eBay Motors: 99 00 01 02-04 MUSTANG V6 3.8L BLACK COLD AIR INTAKE (item 290271815651 end time Nov-30-08 10:31:20 PST)= Also what is this about MAF sensor or whatever.. would that interfere? And last, my brother's girlfriend has a 2001 v6 just like mine, but her's has more power. of course i dont like this, lol, but have no idea how it could be. any advice would be appreciated!
wow thats extremely cheap. definitely worth it. all CAI's are going to do exactly the same thing. don't believe me? check out some dyno numbers and see for yourself. its worth it get it fer sure.
Agreed. For just $23 more you can get the CAI from American Muscle. The "chip" you have is crap, it doesn't do anything. +35 HP my ass. Even an STC only gives a stock V6 19hp.

i believe you're right there.. i never noticed much difference at all in it. bull crap all it was and i believed it. but you guys do think i should get the CAI on ebay? What would this do? sorry, i'm very new and don't know much about all this but would really like to fix up my stang a little

Looks good under the hood, better TB response, a little performance and it sounds cool I would get the one on AM over the ebay one, that's just me though.
