Default 2003 V6 Mustang looking for CAI advice

HOW!!!!!!Just kidding.....Am an old time mustanger from years ago and just got back into an 03 v6 coupe at a pretty damn good deal if I say so myself. Anyway, am looking for a C.A.I...Want it in pretty good conditionbut dont know if I want aluminum or heat resistant plastic or a carbon fiber...any info will be appreciated....Am currently waiting for A.M. to restock for the set they have....75.00 sounds pretty good price for what I have read about the CAI's.................Will type at ya later.....

You get what you pay for I know this from having one of those from AM... I say go with the BBK its much nicer and fits better.

Thanks guys....Say, what about the carbon fiber tubes? Do they restrict heat better or is that just a myth?...

Thet do absorb some heat, but not enough to make a big difference. Most of your heat soak is from the upper intake being metal. That is why some do the Windstar intake swap......

The Windstar intake will fit in place of my intake?...Never heard of that....More details please....also, if I swap my single exhaust for a dual, what mufflers are best recommended so it doesnt bother my back pressur?

All CAI are about the same.
I like the chrome like vs. the plastic.
