Default Subs in my back seats

guys do you think it would work if i mounted subs in my back seats facing the rear of the trunk, so that way i would have no trunk space taken up from a box and so i could lower the seats down when i wanted to make it louder in my car,im talking about just simply cutting out a hole in each of the backs of my back seats and mounting subs in them, has anyone ever tried this and do you think it would work,

Buy or MAKE yourself a rear seat delete kit and put your subs in that. It looks really good.
I'm in the process of making my own rear seat delete to put one 12" Apline sub in.

i wouldnt do it, i have a small box with 2 12" kickers in it and i still have alot of trunk space. if worst comes to worst u can get shallow subs and a shallow box made for a truck and just put that in the trunk, i wouldnt cut the seats though,

i have an 02' stang that i used to have two 12's insigna subs and 500 watt amp. i had them in a regular box in my trunk. i took them out and put them in my back seat cuz i play golf and wanted my clubs in my trunk but they sounded like crap out in the open air in the cabin. i changed them back and got them back in my trunk and trust me in that closed off area they hit dang hard. do what you want but im telling you the subs hit alot harder in the trunk. my side and review mirrors were shaking so hard it was just a straight up blur when my subs would hit.

Subs in a small car will hit harder and sound better if they are in a trunk facing away from you.
