I just started back up again over the summer. I am quite a bit stronger now than I was when I last stopped lifting. I am loving it. lol It is a little difficult trying to get the time to go lifting though. I usually work out for 1.5 hours and do a heavy muscle intensive workout. I need to start doing cardio again to lose some of the weight that I have put on recently.

I currently do not. I have rebuilt a 64.5 Stang. # 76 off the line. Built it back to original and then sold it. I have since found it much easier and more pleasing to deal with imports because of people like I'm meeting here. They seem to think that if it's not american it's ****. I like to try and prove them wrong. If the time comes ad I have a chance to get a Stang (I'm very picky about my cars specially Ford's with the probs my buddies ad family have with them), it will be an extremely nice one to my liking. But for now, I'm content with my Caddy and Supra.

The 64.5 was all original with a 12K mile 289 and 30 yr old gas in the tank when I got it. It was 98% complete when I sold it. I got tired of workign on it and having to hunt for parts that were over priced. It was a nice car and drove great after I got it up and running. I'd buy another one if I had the chance.

If you dislike ford and the "people" who drive them, then what exactly are you doing here other than trying to antagonize?

Thank you. I hate these type of people. I don't think that anyone has said anything even half way immature or mean spirited about imports and all of a sudden he is up in arms about it. It seems as if the only reason that he came on here was to pick a small fight that no one else had any intention of starting. They call people like this Trolls...

If supralvr89 actually took some time before trying call out this forum he probably would have found out that there are quite a few people on here who like imports, me included. I used to be a big import guy but not so much anymore. I got tired of listening to the bullshit that seems to get stirred up around them. Most of the guys with imports think that everyone is out to get them or make fun of them because they drive a 4 or 6 cylinder, personally I don't care, but they seem to think that everyone else does.

Agreed, If he doesn't have a Stang why is he even on here? All he's doin is makin Ricers look bad. Seems they don't like to be proven wrong. Like a buddy of mine that wanted to race me in his 97 Prelude, claimed it made 250hp stock. I called BS and smoked him. He was pissed.

First: I never said I hates Fords or Domestics. My daily is a friggin Caddy. All cars are great on their own. I came up and simply stated that a V6 Stang is no match for a MK3 Turbo Supra. now all of this? I didn't expect people to take what I said and try and make a argument about it. I was stating what I know through experiece and reviews of the 2 cars.

As far as owning a Ford or Domestic, yes I would. I currently have no use for a 3rd car so I will not be buying anything no matter what it is. Part of the reaso I have the MK3 Supra is because of lack of knowledge of the car by teh majority of the people out there. Nobody expects a "Probe" or "240" as it's been called numerous times to be as quick as it is. When they find out it's an 80's model they don't believe it. I find it easier to work with than the Mustang I had, but then again it's comparig 2 different level of technology on 2 different platforms. If I found another Domestic car that was better suited for what I need than the Caddy i got then I would get that, but for now I don't see that.

And in the future I do plan on acquiring a Cobra and having some fun getting experiece with superchargers. For now I'm content. I don't want to try and 'start anything' or any of that crap. I came ehre to look around and see how the Cobra's are coming along. I'm curious as to how they respond to upgrades as well as the other forms of the Stang. Just from lookin around I'm learing a few things here and there. So if you feel the need to harass, pick a fight, or ban me then I feel sorry for you guys. I'm just here to look around.

I also have accounts on various other forums as I'm browsing around there as well. If you would care to look at supraforums.com you can see that we don't pick on the stangs, or Vettes, or Vipers. they're all cars and everyone likes their own thing. Hell most the guys there have Cobra's as well or Vettes.

and if you can hear me back in the year 2003, the '05 GT500 is gonna be sickkkk
they're not going to be available until 2007, so you have 4 years to save up for one. they cost $250,000 dollars. good luck!

As quoted above, yout tone was very different earlier; and as I bolded you were throwing out some acusations.

Your most recent post was a better and by that logic please feel free to look around; but as I quoted is why we were a little irritated.

My reasoning behind that post was from a few topics I've read in the kill section. It seemed that no matter what type of import it was everyone ended with saying " Atleast you don't drive rice" or "Way to show that rice who's boss" It was not directed at anyone in particular. I have been looking around a lot since then. Not everyone has that same attitude, and I don't claim to share it. I apologize if my comments came off as harsh or attackig anyone. to me the term 'Rice' can define either domestic, or import alike. but that's off subject a little.

Speaking of off subject... Has anyone heard of the TX2K event? if so is anyone planning on attending in March? I think ya'll would enjoy yourselves.

As far as the original topic, if both were in new condition I feel the Toyota would come out on top. I've raced numerous V6's as well as 5.0's and 4.7's and stock for stock only the newer (Pre newest style) Gt's have given me a run stock for stock with my 87 Toyota. I haven't found a Cobra that would run. Seeing as how I sold the 87 and bought an 89 and it won't be stock when I see it again It wouldn't be fair to race stock vs modded. It's all fun with me. if someone local to Central TX would like to meet up when I make it back, I'll try my best to. I'm curious to see what ca be done with the Stangs. I've heard rumors about a Super6 build up that has step by step on how to make your V6 into a Charged Cobra killer. I'd be interested in hearing about that and what it takes to accomplish that task. I haven't found anything about it on here, if it's even true.

Rice only refers to Imports. Not all imports, just the Idiots who drive them. I have several Tuner Friends with Imports, and even they hate Ricers.

Yeah, both Super Six Motorsports and Delk Performance have 10sec N/A V6s!! They both seem to do it by using a larger bore (stroker) engine, porting the upper and lower intakes ('90s V6s have are limited mostly by breathing), and more aggressive cams/valves. Check out their websites:
Super Six Motorsports
Delk Performance

And I thought I read that Delk just broke into the 9's (but maybe with a blower?)... Also, look at the clip of them racing!

I disagree. You have never seen a Cavalier/Cobalt, Neon, Focus or any other small Domestic 4 cylinder with an ugly ass body kit, ugly rims, and a huge muffler hanging out of the rear end try to race you? Those are rice too. Rice isn't just Imports. Most people I know classify Rice as the people driving the car, Ricer, or the way that the car was built. There are even some rice german cars around here and that truly makes me sad. I am a euro car enthusiast at heart and I hate to see it when a dumbass gets a hold of one and tries to make it Fast and Furious...
