Default 1995 Mustang V6,serious advice.

ok everyone,

i got a 95 v6 mustang, automatic.

I really want to improve my car, its my daily driver, i just want a car that i can be proud of, wich i am already.

What should i get done? both performance or style.

Im just looking for a list of things that will make the car better. I really dont have ALOT of money to work with but a list will help me over time,

Im thinking

AM v6 CAI
Flowmaster Muffler
New window tint
silver star wheels from AM.
Interior paint, and new seat covers to match
Boss decals, ( would that be to poserish since its not a boss?)

any suggestions would really help

well, nice choices.
my only gripe is w/ the decals, i have gt badges on mine due to the previous owner and still haven't gotten around to replacing them after 3 years (next week tho, seriously!). it would be poserish, and then at least in my case people say "nice gt", and i have to explain how its a sixer and tell them why it has the badges. long story short why not grab some stang side stripes?

on another note, for performance, try swapping to a split port intake from a 99-04, prolly one of the best bang for the buck parts

Sounds like your right on with the mods you want to do to your car. I would keep all those items on the list and start there.

no on the decals.
no on the CAI. Get an ebay one the AM cai is overpriced and not worth it.
no on the single flowmaster. get a dual exhaust.
Yes on the Saleen Replicas.

other suggestions are:

Underdrive Pullies
3.73 Gears & T-lok
j-mod shift kit
SCT X-Cal Tuner + Tune

Bolt-ons will liven the car up

Exactly, it is a Mustang it doesn't need side stripes or window decals saying Mustang for people to know what it is. They take away from the car anyway.

If you are wanting body parts look into the Mach 1 chin spoiler on AM, it looks good on our 94-98's. Also, look into head/tail-lights try the smoked or black ones. They really clean the car up. Maybe a cowl hood.

Cobra brake upgrade with the rims, aluminum driveshaft, lowering springs with shock/struts and rear sway bar, SFC. The list can go on and on with cheap bolt-ons. Once they are all done though the car is going to be a completely different animal than it was stock.

What color is the car?

Driveshaft really won't do any good unless you're making real power.

Here's some inspiration for you 94-98's ftw.

how much money do you plan on spending?... get dual flowmasters... big hp increse i just got my cai today im at work right now and cant put it in haha sucks... but get flowmasters then the cai thta will give you some extra hp... you should probably invest in a new intake manifold instead of the appearance stuff... that will give you 30 hp if im not mistaking the stock ones on the 94-99 suck... looking fast and being fast are two different things... you know... id go with the exhaust and cai... then do the intake manifold... then do the appearance stuff or continue with performance if you wish goodluck

I have an Aluminum Driveshaft and I noticed a difference. Nothing is going to make a difference unless you do a turbo/super/Nitrous kit or do a complete suspension or drivetrain set-up. All of the little things add up. The aluminum driveshaft and flywheel together make the engine rev up quite a bit faster than it would stock. I can definitely tell a difference compared to my friends with stock Mustangs.

94-98. And if you're wanting to build up your motor without having to swap over to split port, which can get extremely expensive. The Eaton M90 S/C swap can be done for $1500 and you'll be at about 220rwhp and 300rwtq with a completely stock motor. If you want more heads and a cam will net you a lot more power.

If there's a difference it's slight and can't net more than about 5whp which is normally not able to be felt. I still feel an aluminum driveshaft is a waste on a car that does not make more than 200rwhp, hell, 150whp in his case.

I didn't say that I felt a hp difference. I felt a difference in the way that the engine revs. It is a very noticeable difference when you drop a gear or two and feel how the engine pulls a lot freer compared to the heavy stock pieces. Have you driven a 94-98 with bolt-ons and aluminum DS/Flywheel? They are quite a bit quicker than one would think.

My car is has full bolt-on's so yes. And I thought you meant hp difference. There is a little bit of difference in the rpm's but it's not incredibly noticeable. Just frees up a little bit of used up power from the stock component.

Exactly, my ass is not so sensitive that I can feel everytime that I add 3-5 horsepower to the car... lol But I can tell the difference from driving my car compared to driving my friends stock V6 cars. The revving ability of the motor is much better on my car than theirs.
