Hey everyone! I own a 1997 V6 3.8 L Mustang that already had an after market Flowmaster dual exhaust system installed. I just noticed that one of the mufflers had a hole in it and I decided that I was just going to replace both. I'm looking for mufflers with a deep rich sound that are in the $ 70-100 range for each muffler. Could anyone refer me to a decent brand somewhere in this price range? Your opinions will be greatly appreciated!

In my opinion, Flowmaster has the best sound, and there reasonably priced. Now, you might want to look into a set of the new 44 series mufflers they have. The tone's a little deeper than the 40 series, i am assuming u have. And they also sell a Busch series muffler that they supposedly run on the Nascar Busch series cars. I havent actually heard one in person but i would assume they sound pretty awesome.

I have been looking at that new 44 series for a little while. I just wanted to get more opinions on the sound. Is it pretty deep? cause thats what im looking for.

Yes, very deep. I had a set on my '00 GT i sold a while back. But, yeah i havent heard anything better since.
