Default Need help with Synthetic Motor Oil

I have a 2008 Mustang Pony V6 and I'm getting ready for my third oil change. I have been using the Motorcraft Synthetic Blend and I'm wondering what is better out there (with full synthetics)? I changed my oil first at 5000 miles and then again at 8000 (so I could rotate the tires) and now at 14000 miles I'm due for an oil change. I do alot of highway driving and i average between 22 mpg and 25 mpg. I usually average 22 mpg going to work, and 25 mpg on my long distance driving (400 miles plus). Also, the oil weights for the synthetics confuse me a bit, so I ask if my Mustange requires 5-10 weight in regular oil will 5-10 in synthetic also be OK, I ask because I want to pre-buy the oil and take it to my dealer for the oil change. I've heard so much about Mobil 1 and Royal Purple and there's an Amsoil dealer in my hometown, but I want the best. Thanks everyone.

I was half asleep when i wrote this. I meant to say, my Mustang uses 5w-30, so i'm wondering if 5w-30 is the weight i use in a full synthetic... i'm apologize for my ignorance.
