Removing Rear View Mirrors?

How is it done? I want to re-paint mine, because the sun has took its toll on them.

All you need to do is take off the nuts holding the mirror onto the door. You can access these by removing the small black panel piece on the door. I attached a diagram to show you what I'm talking about.
