replacing alternator and voltage regulator

ok so this is probobly a dumb question...but would a alt off a 97 fit on my 95..also how much does a voltage regulator cost usually...i called the local napa and they said 200..that seems kinda expensive just for that??....thanks

Not sure on the switch but should be able to.U're volt reg,autozone has it for 48$.

The 97 alternator will fit just fine.......
