Default Ricer Has Committed Ricer / Stang Crime!

Well as most of you might know, im currently deployed to iraq and my wife has my stang, well she just currently moved to Tri-Cities Washington and they happen to have snow on the ground. I am betting you can see where this story is going, well she was getting onto the freeway just getting ready to leave the entrance and well there was a white ford focus (Modified)(F-Ing RICERS) and he was hauling ace down the right hand lane and didnt even switch lanes, well my wife made a very important decision and decided to drive into a jersey barrier instead of SMASHING that god-forsaken ricer, thank god she isnt hurt to bad but my stang is pretty mashed up, just got off the phone with the tow company and also with the SONSHINE Auto Collision service and they said they are going to send me pics to my email, so i will have pictures up as soon as i get them, this blows but my insurance covers it the crappy part is, i am 19 years old with an Orange SportsCar and my insurance is high so i chose to go with Low Premiums/High Deductable this = $1000 so thats the crappy part ARGGGG. But all is well that ends well i needed a new bumper anyways and new headlights so i guess its not all bad, maybe i can get a paint job out of the whole deal. Well i just thought i would inform you that the ricer clan has committed a Ricer/Stang Crime, and they didnt even stop. OK well im gonna get off here just got done with a 18hr shift so im off to bed. Comment Please i need people to vent to.

Thanks Guys,
Travis Lewandowski

PS, Pictures WILL be up ASAP

Eh, that sucks man. I did the same thing to my car last winter. Got it patched up at the body shop and it looks better than before. But at least your wife is okay. Get online and check out those bumpers and maybe some smoked headlights.

I fail to see how it was his fault. He does not HAVE to move into the left lane to let your wife or anyone else in, its up to the person merging into the highway to safely get in. Sounds like your wife does not know how to drive. Sorry to say. Glad she is alright though, and good luck.

Your right Sir, She doesnt know how to drive, do you know why? Because she is 18 years old and she just barely got her license, and yes i know that the ricer doesnt have to move but it is common courtousy to move his damn car to the left lane anyone with a freaking brain will move over if they see someone merging from an entrance, maybe i should just stop getting in the left lane from now on see how many accidents i can cause, with all due respect a car doing 70 in the snow is the one who doesnt know how to drive so yes it is his fault and the least he could have done is stop and see if she was ok but no he kept on driving because he knew he was in the wrong, i am posting a pic of exactly what happened so you can look for your self.

I agree, he is not in the wrong. And since when is anyone driving anything that's not a Stang a ricer? It sucks that your car is wrecked/damaged, and i hope everything works out. Glad your wife wasn't hurt. I've watched 2 Stangs (1 V6 and 1 Cobra) plow into my Celica while it was PARKED. Does that make them ricers? nope. Not even if their car was loud and annoying. You're not required to move over, but yes it is a bit of courtesy to do so. not everyone moves over and not everyone will. Again, Hope everything gets worked out and glad your wife wasn't hurt. Sorry to hear about your Stang.

its a courtesy to move into the left lane, that is why the merging traffic has that big YIELD sign, your only pissed cause it was your wife she is fine who cares about the car.

there is no law that would uphold any fashion of what you are claiming to be negligent by the other driver he wasnt involved therefore he had no responsibility to stop, should he have perhaps but hey crap happens.

perhaps the kid in the car was younger and didnt know if it "proper" to move over. i dont do it cause they have to yield the right of way to me.

can you prove he was doing 70 or is this more hearsay like the ricer part?

and car color has no bearing on insurance prices

Sorry to hear about your wife's accident and you mustang, glad she is ok and your mustang is repairable.
Sadly people do not have common sense anymore, and they apparently don't know that 2 cars trying to drive on the same exact part of the road can't happen, and therefore you should move over and let cars get onto the interstate.
Thank you for your service.

OK about the insurance thats just what i have heard and what im saying is he was going so fast that my wife didnt see him and was pulling in front of him and she then saw him and decided that it was a wiser choice to run into the jersey barrier instead of getting read ended by the other car, which was a dang ricer it was a ford focus with a bumblebee muffler sounds like someone having a hard time in the restroom. Your not getting what i was trying to say, she was entering and didnt see him and then he came out of nowhere and didnt get over so she took the ride to the ditch.

alright thanks for the clarification, he may have not wanted to swerve for fear of wrecking his car into the opposite jer-z barrier

was there anyone next to this guy already in the left lane? Maybe there was someone there? I usually move over to the left as a courtesy btw. But not if it mean hitting someone in the left lane.

And yeah you have no way to prove he was doing 70. Also yeah he should not have been going very fast it it was snowing.

Also you only have your wifes word on what actually happened. Not saying she is lying but perception on events are subject to individuals.

I just wanted to point some things out to you.

if someone is driving like an idiot, they are going to cause problems for other motorists..... its just statistics. this focus was driving like an idiot and he caused a problem. simple as that.
