I really like to learn all I can about it, anyway I have $1000 to put in it any sugestions?. Al lot of people and friends told me that I shouldn't put so mush money in this car and that I should better buy a 5.0L which will give me more options and power. I told him that it's was true but I really like chalenges. Well any sugestions on what to invest my $1000?.

its your money and you can do what you want with it. throwing at a 3.8l may not be the best idea though. Just setting yourself up for disappointment and an empty wallet. take the car sell it for whatever you can get for it and get a 5.0. something older than a 94-95 model. fox body so much easier to build

I know what you mean, but I would really like to fix this one because it have sentimental value. My girlfriend's father gave to me before he died 1 moth ago. I ask my girlfriend if I could modified and she said yes.

if you are set on staying with the 3.8l you can do some basic mods, cold air, exhaust, throttle body, new rear end, etc.. if it is a manual you could do a short shifter. if you are looking more for appearance a paint job is always nice, new rims. i mean its really all up to you.

thank you for your advises. So far I've taken care of the exhaust system, cold air intake it's on it's way. I wanted to buy a throttle body, but but I dont know if there is a spesific size.

The throttle body won't do you any good on a pretty much stock engine. Have you thought about gears? Changing those 2:73's (that's what the sn-95's have, right?) to 3:73's or 4:10's would really wake up your car.

Yes the 94-98 V6's had 2.73's. Changing the gearing to 3.73 or higher will wake the car up quite a bit. The problem is that the 94-98 V6's were dogs. It takes a bit of work to get them to be fun cars. Maybe lower it with some shocks/struts/springs? Rims? Split-port swap?

Is the car manual or auto?

Go back to your 5.slow section unless you have decent advice........

Better yet, let me go over there and tell you guys to sell your 5.slow's and get a real motor like a V6. I can make a V6 faster than your 5.0.......

I think guitarist and cmaurer have you on the right track.......

What exactly is a Split-port swap? I know that it's on the 99-04. Can I maybe take one of thoes and put it in mine?

You Should Put New gears in it 3.73s. but you'll need a 23 teeth Speed gear to fix your spedo. If you want more bang for your buck then you need nitrous but your car want last as long with it.
