One thing I would like to say is that I LOVE my V6 'stang, especially an '08. I look at what other people are driving (junkyard cars) and it makes me feel very lucky to have such a car. So what if its a v6 automatic, I like to enjoy my ride instead of having to shift every 3 seconds! And unlike some douchebags I actually take care of my muscle car... what's the point of having a nice car if you're going to beat the **** out of it? All I can say is V6 for the win!
I have a V6 and plan on keeping it close to stock only adding Ford Racing CAI, exhaust, and a tuner with a handling package. After like 5 or 7 years I would like to trade it in for a GT or a Cobra but I would bash on any V6's. Mustangs aren't Mustangs there are different classes of Mustangs but underneath it all we are still Mustang owners and for whatever reason we are drawn to our own Mustang for different reasons.

I think it is a waste to have a nice car and not drive it. Why have a car if all you are going to do to it is make sure it is a garage queen? I never understand the people who buy nice cars and then park them and look at them?
I love my sixbanger. I don't race, i don't go to tracks. I wanted a mustang because of the name and the styling of the car. I wish i ahd a GT, but I couldn't afford insurance on that sort of car. I went from a V6 alero to a V6 Stang, and its an increase performance and stylistic wise. I don't regret it, and everyone i talk to says I made the right choice going with a sixer due to my age.

If people have the money and want to waste it they can. Most of them buy sports cars or exotic cars and don't do any modding whatsoever. They just buy that "special car" and then a few months later get bored of it and then buy another. If I were rich I would have one car of my own and hold on to it until it's super modded.

I'm in the same boat. I love my sixer. I went from a 4 cylinder Malibu to my Mustang and it is like night and day. My friend messes with me all the time because its not a gt but he doesn't like it when I bring up the fact that I have more power, more torque, and my car is quicker to 60 mph than his Toyota MR2. People are just jealous when they see what a great car we have and don't have to pay out the ass to carry insurance on it!

This thread is pointles... I love my V-6, but there's always gonna be douchbags out there, and we're just going to take it to the track to settle it, that's about all there is to it...

There is no reason to bash the 6'ers. . . I learned my lesson about smaller engines many years ago. . . When my dad's 87' Buick Grand National put a 2002ish ZO6 to shame. Anyone who thinks a 6 or even a 4 can't destroy a V8 is horribly mistaken.
I love my V6 and don't want to sell her(my gf wants to though) We have a lot of history together. It may not be fast for what it is right now but I always enjoy driving it
This is the exact same way I feel about my V6. I have so much history with my baby(V6 Stang) that I couldnt ever imagine selling her. She is the mustang that got me into mustangs. Without her I would have never gotten my GT Mustang. And as Fobra said I enjoy driving her every once in a while because she is an EXCELLENT and RELIABLE car even if she's not fast! Even though I have GT mustang now I am still VERY PROUD to say I OWN A V6 MUSTANG!

The day i bought my baby the first thing my bro said to me was its junk its not an 8 cyl. i said funny thing about that lil brother what you driving? his answer was shut up..( he didnt have a car beucase he blew it up) i love my stang and dont care who doesnt... Point is its paid off and mine,.
i love my v6 would i want a GT sure but i cant afford insurance on the GT and it doesnt get as good as gas mileage. My v6 is pretty quick and i race some of my buddies and i usually kick their butt(i beat my friend who has a new v6 hehe) so im content with my v6 its a great first car and i have had no problems with it just regular maintance( spark plugs, brakes, oil change etc.) People just think they are bad because they have a v8 engine....
Exactly what I was thinking. Most GT owners are pretty cool. It's when you get to the younger Roush and Cobra owners that only have that car cause daddy bought it for 'em that you meet some dick heads.
Yea I agree its the guys that dont work for their car that are the dick heads and just like you said daddy bought it for emm, they have NO clue what it means to actually WORK for something you want/enjoy... Lol I know what it's like to have to work for my car... I really work my a** off to own my '03 GT and to keep her in tip-top shape!
