I just think about the money wise and how much would it cost to make a v6 stang run in the 10's (that goes for all v6 stangs). For my stang i know it would probably cost less than 10k to make it go into the 10's (add that the car cost 1000-4k). So about 15k id spend on my v6 mustang to make it run 10's (with car price) as for the v8 guys there rides can range from 8-25k (99-present GT's, Cobra's, saleens, roush, bullit) take it from there
$10K to run in the 10's? Not reliably and more than a couple times before something explodes. Cheaper to get a V6 into the 10's? You don't really believe that do you? A 4V 4.6L can do it cheaper and more reliable as well even if you factor in cost the car.
THe whole point of this thread is that a V6 Mustang is every bit of a Mustang as any V8.. Even the 4cyl Mustang deserves some props since it is still a Mustang. There are just as many cocky mouthy guys in every engine size and model year.
Have fun with what you got. I'd sell my car and buy a Cobra in a second, but I bought the amount of car I can afford and don't regret it for a second. It is a ton of fun to drive and still has plenty of go to break multiple laws in a matter of seconds.
when i bought my v6 2003 mustang some dick at my husbands work started giving him hell casue it wasnt a GT like HIS. one of those guys. dude you drive pizzas in a convertible GT mustang. what a maroon. i told him i wasnt trying to compinsate for anything. HA!
i love love love my v6 pony. i havent done anything to it. its just fun to drive. i dont race. but man when i have to pass someone it can GO. hehehe. im such a daredevil.
i did go 110 on I-5 the day i bought it. cant bring myself to do that again. but i impressed the heck out of my 15 year old son who didnt know a few things about his mom!
im only 33. dont call me old!
haha dont give your son too many ideas... when i had my sixer for the first day i went 120 on the freeway...and btw im only a year older then your son. tell him to be careful when he starts driving and to add to the bashing, personally i have never been bashed.... im a junior in highschool and i have like the best car in the school.. ahah just mine and my friends opinion.

the reason people bash us is because those of us who do own a sixxer have the nerve to run there mouths and talk down to people. i love my six shes my baby and thats exactly how i treat her. my car is decent for most sixrs around my area, and im proud of that, my cars been flipped, wrecked and dammit i bring it back to life both times. i paid for my car. and im damn proud of that.
sixxer or not, ITS MY V6 FORD MUSTANG!!!!!!!!!

I think sixers need to stay in their place meaning don't pull up next to a V8 Camaro or a V8 Dodge Charger Hemi and say want to race? The V6 Mustang is fast for the price and a good value but its never going to break any land speed records. I've had one person "dis" my car and it was some rich daddy's boy foreign exchange student who barely speaks english.

I'm saying the standard, run of the mill, V6s should stay in their place. Personally I wouldn't dump a bunch of money into my 08 V6 to make it go faster but thats just me.

i hope that doesnt include RS 305 camaros...because i regret to inform you, those are an easy lunch for a bone stock 99-04 3.8L.
i've about had it with V8 owners thinking they can beat any V6 simply because they have more cylinders, regardless of year. if you think you're faster, then just race; let your car talk sh** for you.
