Okay, so i have been doing my own research but have come up pretty much with NOTHING. How the heck does a 3,564cc 3.6L V6 engine on a camaro put out 90 more horses than a 4,006cc 4.0L V6 engine? Heck its putting out more than a 4.6L V8 mustang. I simply just dont understand, maybe you all can shine some light on it.

I have very minimal knowledge about how engines work. But I'll guess that it has something to do with the Camaro being a DOHC whereas the Mustangs are SOHC

You're comparing a 4.6L SOHC engine designed over a decade ago to the 3.6L DOHC with variable valve timing.

Its like comparing an 8-track to a Blue Ray DVD
