Suggestions for parts or where to get them?

Definetly don't go to rpmoutlet, they are s***heads. www.americanmuscle.com has a lot of the basic bolt-on stuff and appearance stuff. www.supersixmotorsports.com has more of the serious engine mods. www.delkperformance.com has just about anything as far as performance mods go.

Whats your goal and budget?

Well, i want to keep it under 5,000 for now. I dont plan on turboing or anything like that, just like intake and underdrive. maybe throttle body and MAF. tuning is definately something i want to do.... maybe ignition coils......

A TB won't help when you are stock. If I had $5000, i would put my money into a power pack from Super Six Motorsports. That would run you about $3000 or so lets say. Then get a tune from SCT for less then $400 and then gears and a t-lock for $800 installed. Then after that you can get a bigger TB and a CAI. If you think about it, have SSM port the intake so a larger TB will fit and flow correctly. Also, you may want to add exhaust. You may not be about to get all of that for under $5000 but you can do some research and choose what you want. With $5000 dollars, you can make your six a nasty little street machine my friend.

$5k can do a lot. If you dont want to go forced induction then mineralironhors has a good point. Supersix has good stuff for the motor. Before you do that need to get the prep work done. You will absolutely need a detroit true-trac T-lok, T/A rear end girdle, and a tuner. It would be wise to also get sub-frame connecters, intake, and exhaust.

it might improve throttle response a tiny bit, but on a stock motor you dont need a new TB, its not worth your money.

everyone else has made excellent suggestions for you...except for the 3.70:1 gear lol
but really im sure you meant 3.73:1, and yes thats a great mod, along with a t-lock

+1 Don't waste your money on little bolt-on's here and there. You'll only be disappointed. With 5k, going FI is the logical thing to do, then with the money you'll have left over, work on the suspension.

trust us, go with a blower or tubo. Infact there is an eaton swap available but I dont think I would recomend that for you, heck I dont even recomend it for me but I know people whove done it and know how to install it =P

Get a votech, procharger, or turbo kit.

If he hadn't said that he didn't want FI I would of suggested it too.

Don't forget the rear end along with that suspension. Boost will tear that factory open differential apart.

Buy a supercharger form ebay they're always sold for 1k and just buy the parts needed and have one to install it. if you really think about it, with a blower you will get more hp, and then i suggest doing the other things cuz after its supercharged you car will be faster/
